Can u understand the words that comes out of my mouth or not???!!!?

Some pple really had problem understand or rather choose not to understand/listen what other's gotto say. Apparently E are a truly classic for this act. Here's one of the example:

E: I heading home soon. Do you wanna meet later?
Me: Can make it later? Got some stuffs to do...
E: What time? Don't be too late...
Me: Ard 9++...
E: Meet me at 9.
Me: Then next time.. I already just said I got stuffs to do..

Think I need to send a official letter & let signed & acknowledged on every words I told her.... Sigh...
